Local Area Agreement
Derby City Partnership is responsible for managing the Local Area Agreement, which identifies how we will deliver parts of our 2020 Vision. The Local Area Agreement, or LAA, sets out some key local priorities, between central government and local partners and also reflects what funding we will use to deliver these priorities. Local Area Agreements simplify some government funding, help us to join up services more effectively and allow greater flexibility for local solutions to local problems.
We see how well we are doing by reporting every quarter on our Local Area Agreement targets. These reports show how well we are doing against the target we have set, and allow us to compare Derby with the rest of the country.
