Performance measures
In Derby City Partnership, we have two main ways of measuring our performance. We see how well we are doing by reporting on our key measures. The key measures allow us to compare how well we are doing in Derby compared with the rest of the country. Progress on the key measures are reported quarterly where possible, though some information is available less frequently, such as school exam results.
We use a simple 'traffic light system' to clearly show how we are doing. Green means we are on target, amber means we are very close to our target and red means we are behind target. These measures are all part of our Local Area Agreement - see Progress on our Work.
To make sure this information is as straightforward as possible we have put together a list of commonly used words.
As well as constantly monitoring our own progress, the government performs a review of our Local Area Agreement every six months to measure our success. The review looks at how well we are doing with achieving our targets and delivering services in priority neighbourhoods. In our reviews for the last two years we were rated as 'green' - the highest score any partnership can achieve
