Progress on our work
Derby City Partnership covers a variety of themes including health, crime, housing, the environment, the economy, learning, culture and the profile of Derby. These themes are all reflected in the Community Strategy, the 2020 Vision, as well as the strategies and agendas of our theme groups or 'cities'.
As a partnership keen to make progress and record it we constantly monitor our work so that we can celebrate our success as well as seeing areas where we need to improve. Go to Performance Measures to see how we do this.
Derby City Partnership is responsible for managing the Local Area Agreement, which identifies how we will deliver parts of our 2020 Vision. The Local Area Agreement, or LAA, sets out some key local priorites, agreed between central government and local partners and also reflects what funding we will use to deliver these priorities.
Local Area Agreements simplify some government funding, help us to join up services more effectively and allow greater flexibility for local solutions to local problems.
