I am delighted to send you Derby City Partnership’s first electronic Annual Report. As with all organisations, Derby City Partnership is moving with the times and finding new and effective ways to communicate with the people of Derby. This has been another exciting year for Derby City Partnership and a time of great change in Derby. Our annual report highlights just some of the success that has been achieved over the past year, thanks to the hard work of the hundreds of organisations and individuals involved in Derby City Partnership. Everyone who visits, lives or works in Derby will be aware of some of the dramatic changes of the past year. The new Westfield development is nearing completion, the new QUAD visual arts and media centre is rising on the Market Place, and the promise of a big screen which will bring a whole host of events and celebrations to life in the city. As the city centre develops, there are key developments in our neighbourhoods. Multi-agency neighbourhood teams are being rolled out across the city, giving more of a voice and more influence to local people. Residents have also been at the heart of planning physical developments in Derby, from new libraries to the Revive Healthy Living Centre. It is with the commitment, support and continued hard work of partners that we are able to celebrate another successful year, and look forward to a bright future. Please click here to read our Annual Report; I hope that will feel as motivated by the achievements as I am.
